Straight answers

Everything buyers ask, answered

Minimums, payment terms, tolerances, shipping and duty — the questions that come up on almost every first call.

Ordering

What is the minimum order?
It depends on the craft: tile from 20 m², furniture from 10 units, fashion from 50 units per style and colour. Mixed designs count toward the same price tier, so a varied order still reaches volume pricing.
Do you hold stock?
No. Everything is made to order in the workshop, which is why samples and written approval come first — and why nothing we ship is generic.
How fast do you quote?
Itemised quotes within 48 hours of a complete request: unit prices, MOQs, lead times and a shipping estimate.

Payment & terms

What are the payment terms?
30% deposit to start production, balance against the pre-shipment photo report. Bank transfer as standard; letters of credit on larger orders.
Are there platform or marketplace fees?
None. You pay for craft and freight. Our margin is transparent on the trade side and is not taken from the artisan.
Can I get annual pricing?
Yes, from your second container — SKU prices held 12 months so you can publish a catalogue against them. See the trade program.

Quality & samples

How do I know the quality before ordering?
Order a $49 sample box (credited on your first order), then approve a physical production sample before the run begins. Photo QC follows at every production stage.
What if goods arrive damaged or defective?
Everything is photographed at crating. Transit damage is claimed on the insured freight; genuine workshop defects are remade or credited at our cost within 14 days of delivery.
What tolerance should I expect?
Handwork carries variation — typically ±3% on dimensions, more on Tamegroute pottery. Exact tolerances per material are stated in the material library and on every order confirmation.

Shipping

Which incoterms do you offer?
FOB Casablanca, CIF or DAP. Most first orders take CIF.
How long does shipping take?
Europe roughly 3 days by sea from Casablanca, US East Coast around 12, the Gulf around 10 — plus consolidation and clearance.
Is there duty into the EU?
No. Moroccan-origin goods enter the EU duty-free under EUR.1 certification, which we issue with every EU shipment.
